Act! Sing! Dance! For 4 years now, the ITK program has been teaching Quadra kids the skills to do all three… and we have SO MUCH FUN along the way! Island Theatre Kids is proud to offer a well rounded education not only in the disciplines of theatre, but also in teaching life skills, building confidence and providing an avenue to make lifelong friends. Students will be introduced to basic acting skills and games that will develop trust, collaboration and creativity. Imagination and theatre skills, basic dance technique and musicality will be further developed through structured exercises such as scene work, ear training, learning songs and rehearsing for our big show at the end of the week. Students will gain confidence, communication skills and most importantly, HAVE FUN! This camp is run by the combined powers of Kate Alexandra (ITK) and Laura Mudge (On The Mark Theatre). This camp tends to fill up quickly, so save your spot soon!
